2026 Community Grant Opportunity

The CareOregon Foundation is excited to share a new grant opportunity for 2026! This opportunity is focused on helping communities thrive by supporting the work of local leaders, organizations, and coalitions. Of particular interest is support for youth and young people within immigrant and refugee, LGBTQ+, and Tribal/Indigenous communities, and the ways in which they reimagine leadership, livelihood, and governance.

This 2026 Grant making process marks CareOregon Foundation’s first open grant making. This year, we will ensure a process that:

  • Engages trust-based philanthropy approaches through a Community Grantmaking Committee (CGC).

  • Serves communities throughout the state.

  • Allows the Foundation to learn and grow its grant making and related efforts.
